Your options don’t have to be chicken or beef. Eat lamb ragu or vegan chili. Let’s plan a wedding that looks like the two of you.
You know what makes a wedding awesome? Spending time with the people you love. A wedding doesn’t have to cost $50,000 if you don’t want it to. Spend money on the things that really matter to you. Let’s uproot the idea of what a wedding should look like. Let’s celebrate this commitment you have made to each other. Let’s throw a huge party where everyone has a great time!

I am originally from Cincinnati, OH, but in 2016, I followed a cute boy to Tacoma, WA, and now his hometown feels like my hometown. I love the beauty of Tacoma aka Grit City - from the mountain to the people to the docks - it’s just all so incredible. I love connecting with people, finding common ground, and figuring out how we can make each other’s lives better. I am a true extrovert in the sense that I gain all of my energy from being around people. And I have a lot of energy! I love being the go-to person at a wedding and making that day an incredible memory for the couple and their guests.
We plan weddings so well they don’t look planned at all!

We had the pleasure of working with Ashley leading up to our event with the Coordination Package as well as Tosha joining us on the day of and we cannot recommend Grit City enough! From the first conversation, you could tell their broad experience left us in very capable hands. Ashley managed to be both incredibly friendly and easy to talk to while also being ridiculously efficient. The Grit City team provides a ton of planning resources to their couples and we met several times leading up to the event, all of which left us feeling relaxed and confident about our big day. On the wedding day, they arrived with smiling faces and kept things running smoothly and looking even better than we'd hoped. Their whole team was just delightful to work with and I am so glad they were there to help make our day perfect!

We loved working with Grit City for our wedding! They were recommended by our venue (Willows Lodge) and it was so nice to work with a team who knows the venue inside and out. Ashley was super responsive and helpful throughout the entire process leading up to the big day. And Ashley and Tosha were amazing on the day of. They were really patient and positive, and were just an overall joy to be around. The day was unusually hot, and they made sure I was hydrated and fed. They felt like old friends, which is incredibly important on such an emotional and significant day. My husband said Grit City was the "best money we spent on the wedding" — and I couldn't agree more. We had the wonderful experience of working with Ashley at Grit City for our wedding planning and it could not have been a better experience. We had an odd vision for what we were looking for, and Ashley handled it all amazingly, from recommending the perfect vendors to keeping us on track and making sure we had everything we needed to truly make it our day. Ashley worked very closely with myself and our maid of honor to make sure the day went perfectly, and was an excellent day-of coordinator. We went with their Wedding Management package and, as someone who can be a bit of a control freak, it was exactly what we needed; Ashley took care of the things we needed done and pointed me in the right direction for all the things we wanted to do ourselves. On the day of the wedding, we truly were able to relax and enjoy ourselves knowing that Ashley had it all taken care of. I cannot recommend her enough!
